As we come to the end of another busy and fun filled term, I would like to thank the students and staff for their commitment to learning and supporting the many faith and wellbeing programs. This term has been filled with learning, growth, and countless moments of inspiration, all made possible through the hard work and commitment of our College community.

A special acknowledgment goes to the students and staff who participated in the Year 9 and Year 7 camps. These experiences not only strengthened friendships and personal growth but also embodied the values of courage, perseverance, and collaboration. The camps provided opportunities for students to challenge themselves, develop new skills, and create lasting memories. I thank everyone involved for their enthusiasm and willingness to embrace the many opportunities presented to them on camp. I especially thank all the staff who gave up their time to attend the camps. I, the students and parents are very appreciative of your commitment.

On Sunday 23 March, I had the pleasure of attending the Catholic Education Week Creative Arts Exhibition. It was a truly inspirational event, and I congratulate current students, Amelia Leung, Alannah Peterson and Sinead Todd along with past student Etienne Green, who were all award winners. Former student Ava Scott’s artwork was also part of the exhibition. A full report about the exhibition can be found later in this newsletter.

Throughout this term, our students have truly embraced the College theme, Be the Light that Ignites Hope, living out its message in their daily actions. Inspired by the legacy of Mary MacKillop and the Sisters of Saint Joseph, they have demonstrated compassion, kindness, and service to others. Whether through acts of generosity, leadership, or simply being a source of encouragement to their classmates, our students continue to bring hope and positivity to our community. I am very proud of them and encourage them to continue to embrace our 2025 theme.

Stacey Bourke, Deputy Principal Student Wellbeingwill be taking Long Service Leave for all of Term Two. Kelly Sexton will be replacing Stacey as acting Deputy Principal Student Wellbeing. We wish all the best Stacey as she takes a well deserved break.

As we prepare for the Easter season, we are reminded of the themes of renewal, faith, and hope. Easter is a time of reflection and gratitude, a moment to celebrate the joy of new beginnings and the strength found in unity. May this sacred season bring peace and joy to all families within our College community.

Wishing everyone a restful break and a blessed Easter filled with hope and renewal.
