We would like to hear from you

Our students are amazing, they display such a breadth of talent and determination and we love to share and celebrate their success with the wider MSJ Community. If you know of a student achieving great things or showing resilience and determination to achieve a goal (no matter how small), we would like to hear from you. Send your story to synergy@msj.vic.edu.au.

GOLF CADDY AT VIC OPEN

This weekend I had the honour of being a caddy for a professional golf player, as part of my Junior Scholarship program I got to play 6 holes alongside my player, Hannee Song from New Zealand. Hannee was so nice to caddy for as well. Kooringal golf club was allowed to have 6 caddies and I was lucky enough to be selected as one of them. I had a lot of fun and it was a great awesome experience. I was also live-streamed on Foxtel throughout the day which was nerve-wracking but so fun! So many cameras!

Charlotte Dunn (Year 8) represented Altona Surf Lifesaving Club this Friday-Sunday at the Victorian state championships in Lorne. Out of a field of nearly 70 girls in the U13 age group, she won the Female Championship Beach Competitor award, Gold in the Sprints and Silver in the Flags.

Her next focus is the National Championships ("The Aussies") on the Gold Coast in April, where she's been recruited by Alexander Headlands to represent them in sprints, flags and relay.
