Charlotte Dunn (Year 7 Cameron) competed at the recent Victorian Surf Lifesaving Championships in Warrnambool. Competing for the Altona Surf Lifesaving Club, Charlotte won gold in sprints and silver in belt and reel in the Under 12 age group.

Well done to Charlotte as the competition was very tough with approximately 90 girls from all over the state in the age group she competed in.

winning ART with an environmental message

Congratulations to Nicole-Hazel Parulan (Year 12 Studio Arts 2020) who had her painting entitled ‘Two Landscapes’ selected in the 2021 Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools Creative Arts Exhibition.

Artist Statement

"My artwork involves a surrealist landscape that incorporates contrasting themes and colours. The concept of combing ‘wet’ and ‘dry’ environments, one a watery sky scape high above and the barren terrain below. To make it more interesting, I wanted to incorporate feelings of apprehension and awe, resulting in the juxtaposition of the landscape with an ominous void that is slowly eating away at its sides, and threatening to consume the rest of the painting's world."
