College Captain: Lauren Vander

I am one of the Co-College Captains of MSJ for 2022. My time at MSJ has been fulfilling and has included a wide variety of experiences and opportunities. I was inspired to apply for College Captain because I want to assist each and every student attending MSJ to have the same positive experience and embrace the opportunities offered.

College Captain: Amelia Vivera

I am one of the Co-College Captains for 2022. I am so grateful for this opportunity and am excited for the year ahead! To be College Captain has been a dream of mine and I applied for this position as I would love to support and empower my peers. Mary Mackillop led by example and as a leader my aim is to do just that!

Wellbeing Leader: Nina Unsworth

While my interests are broad, my passions lie in wellbeing and ensuring that school is a safe and welcoming place for all. I feel so privileged to be in this position, to be a voice for the people and to be able to make improvements to the school that everyone will benefit from. I am so excited to see what 2022 brings us and to work with this amazing team of leaders and teachers!

Arts Leader: Isabel Vella

I have been involved with the arts my entire time at MSJ, participating in the school musical and variety nights each year. It is something I am very passionate about which is why I was inspired to apply for Arts Leader. I am thrilled to have this opportunity to positively impact the arts at MSJ!

Academic Leader: Samantha Chua

In previous years, I have participated in programs such as ‘Aced it!’ tutoring. Through this opportunity, I have been inspired to step forward for this role and I am looking forward to helping create more opportunities for students to not only learn effectively, but find the learning style that is best suited for them.

Ministry Leader: Sarah Price

MSJ's ministry role is focused on helping guide and engage the student body with faith-based activities. I am hoping to closely intertwine this with the social justice and sustainability portfolios to provide students with examples of how faith interrelates with worldly issues. Over the years I've been very privileged to have fabulous religion teachers. Their willingness to have open conversations about faith have motivated me to try bring the same to other students.

Social Justice Leader: Jasmine Maharaj

I am very passionate about social justice issues and I enjoy speaking out about these issues as well as educating myself and others about injustices. I found this role to be an incredible opportunity to help promote activism in the school.

Sustainability Leader: Zoha Talpur

I have always been extremely passionate about taking the initiative to look after our environment and inspiring others around me to do so as well. I am very grateful for this opportunity and am looking forward to helping create a more sustainable MSJ!
