Work on the Finucane and Pierce building upgrades continues to progress well. With a target completion date of late March, we are all looking forward to Term 2 when these buildings will come online.
As the building works near completion, we will, over the coming weeks, commence the landscaping element of this project. This will see extensive redevelopment of all open areas in the central hub of the College between Reid / Pierce / Administration / O’Brien / Tenison Woods / Byrne / Finucane and Giovanni buildings.
Tuition statements have been emailed over the course of January / February. Please note that 26 February is the first instalment due date for families that have established a payment arrangement.
As previously advised, if your account is paid ‘in full’ by 26 February, you shall receive a $200 discount off your account. If you are yet to commence payments, or if you have not yet established a mutually agreeable payment arrangement, it would be appreciated if you bring your account up-to-date. Families are required to settle fees in accordance with the 2021 fees schedule unless an alternative arrangement has been approved by the College.
Copies of the 2021 fees schedule and forms can be located on the College website:

$1,225 CSEF reduction for eligible students
Under this State Government initiative, the $225 received directly from the government will be applied to family accounts (to offset the cost of camps and excursions). We anticipate this will occur mid-March 2021. For each student who qualifies for the CSEF, a further reduction of $1,000 will be processed.
Families who hold health care (HCC), pensioner concession (PCC) or veterans’ affairs cards and temporary foster parents are strongly urged to complete the CSEF form (also included on our website) as it provides a significant reduction in fees.
Please note: From 2019, the requirement for parents to complete and submit a new application form each year has been removed. Parents who received CSEF at the College in 2020 do not need to complete an application form in 2021 providing there has been no change in their family circumstances. Families commencing in 2021 will need to complete and return a CSEF form (also included on our website).
If any assistance is required in relation to your account, we encourage you to contact Mrs Heather Rinaldi (msjfees@msj.vic.edu.au) as a matter of urgency.
Thank you for your assistance with this matter.
